Born and raised in the mountains of North Carolina, I create art as a way of reclaiming the past and honoring the stories that shaped me. Working with acrylics on reclaimed wood and other unique surfaces, I aim to capture beauty in the overlooked and meaning in the everyday.While I am not yet a full-time artist, I aspire to grow into that calling. My journey has included years of service in law enforcement and working with troubled youth—experiences that taught me the value of resilience, redemption, and second chances. These lessons deeply influence my art, infusing each piece with authenticity and heart.At my core, I’m a country boy who grew up poor but learned to treasure the simple things in life. My love for God and family continues to ground me and guide my work. Every painting is not just an image, but a reflection of faith, roots, and the enduring value of all things.
